All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by The Sage. Reservations can be made online, via phone, or email. A valid credit/debit card or other acceptable form of payment may be required to guarantee your reservation.
Check-in time is 2:00 PM, and check-out time is 12:00 PM. A valid government-issued photo ID is required at check-in. Late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional fees, at the discretion of The Sage.
Payment for your stay is due upon check-in unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash (Indian Rupees only). All incidental charges incurred during your stay are payable upon check-out.
A full refund will be issued for cancellations made more than 72 hours before the check-in time. Cancellations made within 72 hours of check-in will incur a fee equal to one night's stay. "No-shows" will be charged one night's stay. Cancellations must be acknowledged by The Sage to be valid.
Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days; bank charges are borne by the guest. Special circumstances may allow for fee waivers with documentation, subject to management approval. Guest Responsibilities
Guests are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and refrain from disruptive behavior. Guests are responsible for any damages to hotel property caused by themselves or their visitors. The Sage is a smoke-free hotel, except in designated areas; a ₹2000 cleaning fee will be applied for violations.
Children aged 12 and under are considered children; 13+ are considered adults. Children under 6 stay free, sharing existing bedding. Children ages 6-12 incur a ₹500/night surcharge for sharing existing bedding. An extra bed for 6-12 year olds is ₹1000/night (subject to availability). An extra bed is mandatory for guests 13+ sharing, at ₹1500/night. Parents/guardians are responsible for the supervision of their children at all times.
Pets are generally not allowed at The Sage. Service animals are exempt from this policy with prior notification to the hotel management. Please contact us before your stay to arrange accommodations for service animals.
The Sage is not responsible for any loss or damage to guest property unless caused by the hotel's gross negligence. The hotel's liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. Guests are encouraged to secure their valuables.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Your personal information will be used solely for the purpose of processing your reservation and providing you with a comfortable stay. We will not share your information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Goa.
The Sage reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version of the Terms and Conditions will be available on our website and at the hotel reception. By using our services, you agree to be bound by the current version of these Terms and Conditions.
